Best slippers…..ever?

Ok, so I know this will primarily appeal to guys, but for $12.99 (Target) I don’t think anyone can go wrong; these are some heavily padded slippers. Now that we’ve gone from a high rise to a traditional house it’s a bit more chilly, especially in the basement. Now if only they could say “Doh!”….hmm…..

Shatner/Nimoy Faceoff

I am by no means a Star Trek fan. I haven’t really seen the movies although Next Generation was a decent show. What I am a fan of is William Shatner. I find him hilarious. He and Leonard Nimoy spent an hour in front of an audience at Dragoncon (which I’ve never heard of). Shatner is particularly distressed about the fact that he’s not in the latest Star Trek movie, but Nimoy is. “Leonard, why aren’t I in the movie?!” he asks repeatedly. At one point Nimoy responds with “I think there was discussion of including you, but it was thought you had died some time ago.” Maybe it’s just me, but I found the whole thing to be hilarious. Chad Vader

There’s a production company in Madison called Blame Society Productions and they have a series of videos following Chad Vader, Darth Vader’s younger brother, as he goes about his life as a day manager at a supermarket chain called Empire Market. They’re definitely worth checking out.

Slap Chop!

Vince of ShamWow fame is back and this time he’s pushing the Slap Chop. I have to say, I think it actually looks like it would be pretty useful, for example when I’m making a giant pot of chili and have tons of stuff to slap chop up. The commercials he’s in never cease to crack me up.
