. About
Where did it come from?
I originally had to make a website for a class my freshman year of college and turned some of that into what the site is now. I first launched it in December of 2000 and it was hosted through SIT (Student Information Technology) at UW-Madison. In October of 2004 SIT service ended and in the beginning of 2005 I finally got around to setting the site up at patrickdaley.com. There’s actually about two years of “missing time” between 2001 and 2003 when the site was up and running, but I wasn’t really updating it. If you look back at old blog entries this black hole will become apparent. If you can’t tell this is Patrick Daley’s personal website, and as such you can expect to find my ramblings and musings on life, along with visual aids such as pictures and videos. This site doesn’t adhere to any specific theme so you can expect to find a review of a restaurant in one post, my thoughts on how the Badgers are doing in another, or what’s going on in the tech world in the next.
