Does America need more football?  Between NCAA and NFL you can get your fix Thursdays through Mondays.  Call it cheering for the underdog, but I’m excited for the UFL.  There have been plenty of other quasi-professional football leagues that have come and gone, but I think this one will be different.  It may only last for a season, but that would be a shame because there’s actually a lot of talent in this league from the coaches to the players.  The NFL could use a legitimate talent reserve pool, a place where players with skills, but without a team, can continue to develop and stay in shape.

JP Losman drops back in the pocket, eying Koren Robinson, but it’s too late because he’s just been sacked by Simeon Rice.

The UFL kicks off in October.  Games will be on Versus.
