Whirlwind
Monday, December 25th, 2006The past month has been a whirlwind. I had two lovely Thanksgiving dinners, one at Jenny’s house in Minnesota and one at my parents’ house in Wisconsin. It was nice to go home for Thanksgiving, although the weekend seemed too short as is usually the case when I spend twelve hours in the car round trip. After Thanksgiving things at work became very busy as we started shifting around offices to accommodate for the senators that were defeated or retired and those that were newly elected. I have been so busy with work the past month that it is hard to think of what I have been doing in my spare time. Let us see. We watched the Wisconsin vs. Marquette basketball game at Rosen’s a few weeks ago, had a cookie party at our apartment, attended Christmas and condo-warming parties, and that is about it. It has been nice to be at home the past few weekends, although I am starting to miss football season already. The Badgers play on New Year’s Day and I will be in Orlando to partake in the festivities; it should be a blast. I have pictures from a lot of football games and other things from the fall, but some of them are stilled tied up in disposable cameras that have not been used all the way. I shall post them soon along with pictures and hopefully videos from the bowl game in Orlando. Happy holidays everyone.
