Road Show
Monday, November 27th, 2006How about those Badgers? (The football ones, at least). 11-1 and headed to the Capital One Bowl. Too bad Ohio State is undefeated and Michigan is also 11-1. I digress. The point is that I will be in Orlando on New Year’s Day.
This past month has been a bit of a blur. Since my last post I was gone four out of the five past weekends. I was gone for Halloween/Illinois, Penn State, Buffalo, and Thanksgiving. The only time I was home was for the Iowa game and we had a party at Rosen’s that Saturday so I was gone for a good chunk of the day. Halloween was a little bit of a disappointment; we made it out for a while on Friday night, but crashed after the game on Saturday and never made it out. The rest of the game day weekends basically followed our standard formula of going to the Stadium Bar before the game and sleeping at the hotel afterwards. Football season was great, but I am glad to be spending the next three weekends at home. I have not had that many consecutive weekends at home since July or August. I need some time to finish up with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, which is a fantastic game.
This past weekend was Thanksgiving and I do not know if I could have imagined a better couple of days. I was able to see my grandparents on Thanksgiving at our house, ate some good food, hung out with my brothers, and saw my cousin who has spent the past year over in Kuwait for the Army. It was a very relaxing time.
