New Job

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

For anyone that did not know, I resigned my post at Balogh Becker two weeks ago. Collecting debts on deceased credit card accounts over the phone just was not for me. It is a shame because I really liked working there; everything was great except for what I was actually doing. I found a job with the Minnesota Legislature that lasts for about three months. I am excited to be heading back into familiar territory and I really liked my internship in Madison so I think this will be good.

On Friday night we went out with some friends, which was a lot of fun because we went to a bunch of bars that I had never been to before. Last night we went down the street to Buca de Beppo for dinner. It was my first time there and I can’t say that it was the best Italian I have ever had, but it was not bad. Today we went to Rosen’s to cheer the Badgers to victory over the Gophers. Next weekend we are going to Madison for my birthday. I am excited because I have not been there for some time.

So far the only things that are up and running on the website are this page and the Gallery. I am just finishing up some minor fixes with the Gallery and then I will start adding content to the currently dead links.

Semi-Wet Paint

Things are coming along quite nicely. I found an amazing application called Gallery, which I am using to manage all of my pictures. It definitely took some work to get it running on the server and to embed it into the rest of the site, but I am really happy with how it has turned out. I am hoping to have albums created for all of my pictures by the end of the day.

Wet Paint

My old website is no more. So far I’m happy with how things are looking, although I might change the color scheme at some point. None of the links are live yet; what you see right now is what you get. Hopefully I’ll have everything else done soon.
