Monday, August 29th, 2005Halloween video is finally up along with video of my new apartment. I’ve also got a ton of new pictures scanned and need to put them up along with video of Mifflin and the Wisconsin – Minnesota game from last fall.
I know it’s been a while since my last post, but I have an excuse: I was moving! We’ve been in Minneapolis for three weeks now. The city itself is pretty cool; I guess the best way I can describe it is that it is like a smaller/cleaner version of Chicago. It’s got a very cosmopolitan feel with a lot of upscale shopping and restaurants and a good music and arts scene. Laura B, Laura T, and Joe have already visited us, so you should too. I’m still putting a lot of energy into finding a job without many promising leads so far. I set a deadline of Labor Day for finding a “real job” and if I didn’t have one I would head down the street and find some kind of retail job so I don’t starve to death. I’ve really only been looking for two weeks since it took us a whole week just to get unpacked so I might move the deadline back a little bit. This weekend is the first home Badger football game so I’ll be heading to Madison for that. I’m also going to my cousin’s wedding this weekend. That’s all for now.
