As you might notice I’ve made a few minor changes around the site. I still have more to do, but figured I would upload what is done so far. Spring break is over in about an hour. It’s only been a little over a week, but I feel like I haven’t been in school in a really long time. My break was pretty boring. Cindy and I went down to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg on Saturday the 19th. I didn’t really want to spend the day shopping since I’m pretty broke, but I ended up finding some good things on sale so it worked out well. We finally got around to going to Cheesecake Factory, which was good. We also made a stop at Ikea to get some ideas for our apartment. It looks like there is a strong chance we will be going to Minneapolis so we’ve been looking at apartments online. The two frontrunners for me are Laurel Village and One Ten Grant. Both are downtown and have pools and workout facilities and are all around very nice places to live. I think it would be pretty neat if I ended up moving to Minneapolis at the same time my brother Rob is starting college there. Madison is a great town and is definitely the kind of place I would want to raise a family, but right now I would like to live in a much bigger city like Chicago or Minneapolis. Anyway, I spent Monday through Friday in Madison just working a little bit and then went home this past weekend for Easter. It was nice; we had dinner at my house on Saturday and all of my grandparents were over.

The Badgers got knocked out of the NCAA tournament today when they played North Carolina. The team put forth a great effort and was able to hang with them until the end of the game. I think it’s safe to say that the Badgers exceeded most peoples’ expectations by making it to the Elite Eight. I’m hoping to actually have something up on the Tech and Vids page by this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled.

Nothing much going on lately. I had two midterms last week and two more this Wednesday, although they are both in my online classes that I’m taking pass/fail so not too many worries there. Spring Break starts this week! Too bad I’m completely wasting it in Wisconsin. Sigh. Cindy is still interviewing for jobs like crazy so hopefully something works out soon. Over Spring Break I’m at least going to get my resume up on the Internet on a couple of sites, including this one since it gets so many hits. Working on the site is another thing I’m going to do over break. The layout on some of the pages really bothers me and I need to add some new pages for video content, etc. I was even thinking of changing the color scheme, but I decided that I like it too much to mess with it. Anyway, I need to actually do some studying now.

7:00pm: I forgot to mention I’ve been looking at cars a lot lately. I’ve always really liked Celicas, especially the 5th generation models. The Scion tC is basically replacing the Celica since it’s going to be discontinued in 2005 and I decided that it is the car that I really want, assuming that I can get a job that will allow me to afford it. See the picture up above or go here for a complete article about it from Car and Driver.

Also, I’ve noticed that Firefox handles some HTML code a little differently than IE, but I haven’t had time to look into it thoroughly. So if you’re using Firefox like me, you’ll just have to deal with it for now. :)

I went skiing at Tyrol last Friday night, which was fun. What that place lacks in size they’re able to make up for with terrain and jumps. I’m hoping to get to Cascade and Devil’s Head before the season is over. Otherwise, I haven’t really done anything that cool since my last post, just class, work, and LSA. Oh, I did watch Kill Bill Volume 2 finally. It was good, but I’m not in love with it as much as some people.

Spring Break is rapidly approaching and I couldn’t be happier, regardless of the fact that I will probably be spending it here in Madison or back home in Union Grove. Ten days off from school is ten days off from school, no matter where you are. I’m going to set aside some time to add some new content and tidy things up around the site a bit. Also on my to do list is to start looking for jobs and to get my resume posted online.

I’ve been spending a decent amount of time on Resident Evil 4, and yes, it is just as cool as it looks in the commercials. I beat it a few weeks ago and I’m still playing it thanks to all the extras that you get after you play through it. In other video game news, I’ve always been a fan of Blizzard games like Warcraft and Starcraft, and while Starcraft was and still is pretty awesome, it’s starting to show its age. So I’m thinking of getting Command and Conquer Generals, Rise of Nations, or Age of Mythology, all awesome games, which makes deciding that much more difficult. Ok, that’s enough geekiness for now. Time to get back to studying for my two midterms next week. Oh, and I turn 23 tomorrow. As Jessica Simpson would put it, “That’s like almost being in my mid-twenties!”
